Some of the most memorable performers and sketches in the 45-year history of Saturday Night Live (created by Jewish Toronto native Lorne Michaels) have been Jewish. We'll look at some performances and discuss their significance. Which humor counts as Jewish humor? Can non-Jews make Jewish jokes? What's the boundary of good taste? Included: Jewess Jeans, the Chanukah Song, Coffee Talk with Linda Richman, (Canadian Jew) Drake's Bar Mitzvah, Larry David's Holocaust monologue.
